Get Involved and Help Fight Hunger

We work together with those in need and those that care to be part of their life. Reaching out to our neighbors and giving them a hand-up, we help to support our thriving community.

Circle of Care Food Banks

GHH Ministries partners with Circle of Care to serve more than 2,800 families each month. This represents putting food on the table for more than 11,200 people monthly. Seven distribution centers at multiple locations are offered every week to provide greater access to those we serve. Food is always selected with a focus on nutrition, not empty calories.
13,760+
is the number of people served by Circle of Care Food Banks every month.
1,000,000+
pounds of food distribution annually to families and individuals.

With great respect for those who find themselves in need of Circle of Care’s services, clients are allowed to select their own groceries from the resources provided by Circle of Care.  Food is displayed at distribution locations in grocery-style fashion, and clients browse their options to choose what is right for their own dietary needs. Many food banks pre-package food bags and distribute the same selection to everyone. This creates the potential for tremendous waste when families are given groceries that they will not or cannot (for health reasons or allergies) use.

Circle of Care serves clients from every walk of life. Many clients have been rejected by other food bank programs because of being minimally over income requirements or because of intrusive personal information that must be supplied. Need is often difficult to be measured, and there are few of us who have not found ourselves needing some form of assistance at some point in our lives. Circle of Care acknowledges it is difficult enough for many who must “ask” for help, especially those who have never found themselves in need until that moment. No one is turned away.

Networking with other community service programs, like-minded non-profit organizations and local businesses, Circle of Care extends itself to provide more than food. When resources are available, clothing, furniture, household items, school supplies, baby items, vitamin & mineral supplements and pet food are distributed.
